I noticed a bluish black bruise on my husbands upper chest yesterday . no pain , no trauma . today its turned dark red . what could it be ?

Some sort of minor -: Trauma must have occured, like bumping into something, without realizing it when happened. Any history of drinking? Any meds you are on, like aspirin, which in some people can cause bruising? If there is a fx, then it might have been due to a weakened bone from a cyst, that broke, from day to day activities, resulting in a bruise, bump. I am sure that would be rather painful.
