See below: Flomax, and other so-called uro-selective Alpha blocker medications, are used to treat urinary symptoms in men with enlarged prostates. While they are not fda-approved for treatment of stones, research shows that they increase passage of stones from the distal ureter, and i would consider their use for this to be standard of care.
