Heavy Period Post Thyroidectomy
I had a total thyroidectomy in February. I have not had my period since last December, when I started having thyroid issues. ?
No period since June 2014/ total thyroidectomy for NMG 1/2015 .Sweating under armpits, warmer, yeast infections. 49yrs. Is this menopausal or thyroid?
Had thyroidectomy on 2/28. Started 125 mcg of levothyroxin. Can't have bloodwork yet how will i feel if dose is wrong? Can it affect my periods?
Had total thyroidectomy 2 months ago for thyroid cancer. Is it ok to have a hysterectomy this soon after? Flooding periods unbearable for last 2 yrs.

Is it normal to have a super super heavy period after having a baby! I'm 3 months post partum and going through a super tampon every 45 min - ?
Not normal: Is this the first period since delivery? Was everything ok with delivery and did bleeding stopped as expected afterwards? Were your periods heavy before preg.? Periods can become a bit heavier after pregnancy but a tampon every 45 min seems a lot. I'd see your OB-GYN, esp. if heavy bleeding continues, cramping, fever, dizzy or weak. ...Read more

Probably: The amount of menstrual flow varies from woman to woman. It is normal for some women to have a light flow and for others to have a heavier flow (within limits).
