Anovulatory bleeding: Pregnancy is always on the list of possibilities when a woman has abnormal uterine bleeding or cycles. Did you ask your OB?: Because your OB should have already discussed this at length with you, so you should really call your OB this weekend, I tell my pts that is a blood clot behind the placenta that hopefully will go away but u shouldn't have intercourse or any bouncing around or exercise and u will need followup us in 2 weeks, in some cases it could lead to loss of pregnancy, normal to spot call if heavy bleed orpain. ...Read more
Hi Dr, Can I still be pregnant if my Quantatative test reads 19.3 mIU/mL? I started bleeding heavily. Did not have any pains though.
HCG level post SAB: It usually takes up to 2 weeks for kidney to clear the beta HCG (pregnancy hormones) from the blood. So if it is less than 2 weeks the elevated level is of no concerns and please check another beta HCG in a week until it become zero. If it is more than 2 weeks then there could be multiple reasons like retained products of conception then I recommend to go to your local OB GYN for evaluation. ...Read more

Unlikely: If what you're saying is that you had a positive pregnancy test.... and then after that test you had 3 days of bleeding and then you took another test and it's negative, then likely you aren't pregnant anymore.
