I had a salpingectomy 4 days ago. I am still bleeding quite a bit and getting severe migraines. Is this normal?
4 weeks post TAH and Salpingectomy and was out with my fiancé drinking, one thing led to another and had Anal Sex. I was supposed to refrain from sex for 6 wks. What signs should I be looking for? No bleeding occurred.
Take it easy: Both drinking and engaging sex that soon after surgery were not advisable. From what you described, no harm seems to have occurred. Watchful waiting is okay. If you get bleeding, develop fever or pain, it would be prudent to contact your doctor. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Read more
