How high does your heart rate need to be to have a heart attack?

How high does your heart rate need to be to have a heart attack?

No simple answer: If your arteries have no blockage, then there is no heart rate that will cause a heart attack. The more blocked the arteries, the lower the hr needed to outstrip the blood supply. There are other factors too, like presence/absence of anemia, hypertension, left ventricular hypertrophy, (wall thickening), and contractility which determine how much blood the heart is using and needs. ...Read more

How high does your heart rate need to be before you get a heart attack?

How high does your heart rate need to be before you get a heart attack?

See integrative Dr.: I'm not sure what you mean by heart rate 37%. Do you mean ejection fraction? Preventing and reversing heart disease requires a comprehensive approach of healthy diet, exercise, stress reduction and nutritional and herbal supplements. Stents can help but are a band-aid approach that does not correct the underlying problem. Work with a good integrative Dr.-see http://tinyurl.com/zkr8v2p and comment: ...Read more
