Heart Pounding Hard Could It Be Another Lupus Symptom
Everyday I have drowsiness, temple pain, cheek/eye pain. Tmj like symptoms. It's hard to exercise. Feel faint. Feel heart pounding in abs and chest?
See your MD ASAP: these are too many signs /symptoms to NOT be something that could be serious. Schedule a visit with your MD to have your blood pressure checked, stress test, bold tests etc. there could be a serious underlying factor here. You could also see a dentist who treats TMD but I think you need to be cleared medically first. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Anxiety is likely: Heart pounding often occurs with anxiety. That is different from irregularity of your heart beat, which could reflect an abnormal heart rhythm. Thyroid abnormalities can cause your heart to beat abnormally fast or slow, but your thyroid function is being monitored (judging be your medical history). Absolutely not: B"sd Thats fascinating and a new one to me. Brings to mind possiblity of abnormal adrenaline release seen in an endocrine condition called pheochromocytoma. Much depends on the actual heart rate and rhythm. Seems that the best woud be to have ECG monitor during event . Also, very important to know about blood pressure in general and especially during the spells. ...Read more

Many things: Sarah, at your young age anxiety would come to mind first. If you had any energy drinks (even caffeine free) is common cause at your age as well. Stranger things have happened, but don't worry, just to be safe! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Dry coughes with metallic taste. I also have trouble with breathlessness and heart pounding hard. Is this something to see the doctor for?
Absolutely!: Breathing is non-negotiable, so that in itself warrants a visit. A metallic taste can be a reflection of blood - either from your stomach or your lungs. If invisible blood loss has made you anemic, you could have a low red cell count - and your heart could be beating faster to compensate. (your body needs a certain level of oxygen to function.) do get checked out for this. Good luck. Lgromkomd. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
