Write it down: You can prepare for a visit by writing down any symptom or set of symptoms/findings in an organized way.Include when they started, any things that you think alter the intensity, anything you have done that helped. Make up a comprehensive list, review it to make sure you have it all. Have a trusted friend readmit to see if it is clear and concise.Hand it to the nurse or tech before the visit. ...Read more

I have red bumps that just started appearing theyre pretty far spaced out have puss in them are red and heart really bad when touched?

I was stung by a wasp a few minutes ago. Other than a small, red bump I am not having a reaction. I do have a heart condition. Should I be concerned?

No: Most people who are stung by bees or wasps only have local reactions of pain and swelling which are self-limited. No treatment should be needed. Sometimes homeopathy can help- Apis and Ledum, available at health food stores, are good remedies for wasp stings. However, very rapid or prolonged palpitations could be serious, and a breath holding or cough might be able to stop an abnormal rhythm sometimes. Additionally, large bruises on the torso without trauma could also be serious. See doc. ...Read more

I am 7 weeks with an irrigular sac and two chorionic bumps. There was a yolk and the heart beat was 117. What does this mean .. I have a follow up sonogram in 2 weeks?

I have several: concerns . The fetal heart beat is slower than the ideal of 140-160. Chorionic bumps are associated with abnormal development of the brain and/or spinal cord. Abnormally shaped or positioned sacs are associated with a higher risk of miscarriage. However, detecting a heart beat at this stage of pregnancy is a hopeful sign & you may get better news @ your follow up ultrasound. Best wishes! ...Read more
