Hearing Voices In My Head At Night
"hearing voices" in the absence of actual people talking is referred to as an auditory hallucination. There is a large number of potential medical and/or psychological causes for such an experience. Hello doctor, I have(soft) ache in left-right parties(near ears, at the top of the ears) of head, Voice come from head, voice mainly comes at night
What you seem to be: describing is sounds coming, not from the outside environment, but from inside your head. This is known as "bone conduction" of sound. The most common causes of earache & loss of external hearing are middle & external ear infections and wax build up in the ear canal. But this is an educated guess. You need to see a doctor to find out for sure. Best wishes. Dr. Anne ...Read more
Hearing heartbeat in left ear when laying and changing position. Short periods of muffled hearing in same ear. Daily headaches in back of head.
Likely noncaddiac: Normal heart beats can frequently be heard by patients when they lie on their side or ear. It's a common complaint i hear in the office. We title it "cardiac awareness". Uncertain why it manifests itself to patients when it does. I suspect this is not a cardiac abnormality. Headaches obviously shouldn't be treated lightly. Common allergies on up to more important organic causes may be responsible. ...Read more

Eustachian tube: allows drainage of fluid from the middle ear, and equalizes air pressure on the ear drum. When the eustachian tube becomes blocked, usually from swelling due to allergies or from an infection, it can cause pain and sensitivity to sound, including your own pulse. Steroid nasal spray (eg. Nasonex (mometasone) or Flonase) can help reduce swelling in the eustachian tube and may relieve your symptoms. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Hearing loss in right ear after waking up and usage of glycerin the night before (coz my ear was feeling very full). Washed at a dr. & still can't hear?
Incomplete removal: If the cerumen (wax) was cleaned out by a general physician rather than an ENT doctor, it is possible that not all the wax was removed. Furthermore, the use of glycerine may have made it worse. Although eustachian tube blockage may be your problem, i would advise that an ENT doctor examine your ear canals to make sure the cerumen has been completely removed. Then an accurate diagnosis secured. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Song playing in my head over & over every waking moment! Same song, bad hearing! Can bad hearing lead to Dementia? Am I losing my mind?
I'm so glad u asked!: Loss of hearing does NOT lead to dementia, altho it can contribute to social isolation & other problems. When the auditory (hearing) part of your brain doesn't get enough stimulation, it can make its own music. Hearing the same song over & over is called an "ear worm." You are NOT losing your mind! But you need to see a hearing specialist if you haven't done so already. Best wishes. Dr. Anne ...Read more
