Hearing Ticking Sound Chest Worried
I keep hearing ticking sound from the center of my chest. Should I be worried or am I just being paranoid?
Have tingling in chest and back. Sometime followed by chest pain or constantly hearing some sort of "ticking" inside me. What could this be? Had xrays
?: Interesting set of symptoms. The tingling suggests cervical root neuritis which could also cause chest pain. The ticking is hard to associate. You list "drainage" and "head pain" in your conditions: makes me think you may have serous otitis media causing the ticking .If so, not much to do but wait it out. ...Read more

Slightly Torn ACL, No Surgery, Hearing pops and hurts, have to rest for 10. Is this popping sound normal? Should I be worried that its getting worse?
ACL Tear: If your injury is recent, within 2-3 weeks, knee pain and swelling is normal with an ACL injury. Popping can be related to the swelling in the knee. After 2-3 weeks of rest, the pain and swelling should diminish, along with the popping. I'm assuming you had an MRI. ACL tears can be associated with other knee injuries like meniscal tears and cartilage injury. Recommend MRI and eval by ortho surgeon ...Read more

I had a breast mammogram and ultra sound in august 2013. Then a biopsy for a fibroadenoma which proved not cancerous. Did a follow up routine mammogram and worried cause doctor ask to see me next week?
Difficult to: speculate, it may or may not involve the area previously biopsied. If you are very worried, call your doctor and ask what he/she is concerned about. Otherwise you will get an answer at your appointment. Most of the time these recalls turn out to be nothing of concern. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Unlikey: Small cell lung cancer is not subtle. This would be way down on my list of possibilities, along with other paraneoplastic GI syndromes. With fatigue, weight loss, and a rumbling gut, I'd check you for malabsorption / maldigestion, gluten enteropathy, maybe Whipple's, Crohn's, giardiasis, pancreatic insufficiency from tumor / adult onset cystic fibrosis, a few others. ...Read more
