My left ear has a ringing sensation.I hear heartbeat like sound. lub dub.I cleaned ear using earbud,no difference. I dont listen to loud music.advise?

No. TMD symptom?: Assuming that your ears have been examined & are clear. Also assuming cold or allergy flare ups ruled out. Plugged ears are common symptoms of temporo mandibular dysfunction (tmd). Trigeminal nerve controls the jaw muscles as well as the tiny muscle that opens eustachian tube. Hence the symptoms. Possibly: If the volume is too loud with head phones or ear buds like an ipod etc. Then you can very definitely damage your hearing esp. High frequency. The volume should never be so loud that it causes you to not hear someone trying to talk to you or that causes ringing in ears immediately afterwards. Rock concerts can be esp. ?? inner ear: Your symptoms are fairly non-specific. The inner ear does not cause pain. A middle ear infection may hurt. If you have wax build up you need your external ear canals cleaned.
