Healthy Food Meal Plan With Ordinary Foods
In 5 wks mom lost 20lbs. I lost 7. I work out harder and longer, eat 3 small meals all healthy food. Seeing dietician. Why is she loosing more than me?
Can't compare: You can't compare yourself to anyone else. The rate of weight loss depends on how many fewer calories you are consuming now and how many more calories you are burning compared to previously. It is possible that your mother was eating much more than you and not exercising as much previously, and has cut back more than you to lose 20 lbs. See below: 5-7 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. 3-5 ounces of lean meat, chicken or fish as protein, or eggs, or 1 cup of milk. Complex carbohydrates in the form of whole grains, should make up 1/4 of your plate servings. 1/2 your plate should be fresh fruits and or vegetables. And 1/4 of your plate should be protein. See below: If one quarter of a 8 to 10 inch plate is protein such as 3 ounces of lean meat, chicken or fish, and 1/4 is a serving of complex carb such as a 1/2 cup of rice or pasta, and 1/2 of your plate is fresh vegetables ( steam not fried) you should lose weight if you do this for lunch and dinner.
