Need information: In the vast majority of bariatric situations, the health benefit is big and easy to access. If you did not have health benefit, and your health issues are linked in time to your bariatric surgery, then check in with your regular doc. Not enough info: You may have several problems going on and should consult with your doctor. YOU may need an ultrasound to look at your veins, but better to get seen first ...Read more

Weight loss: The veins may be more visible from the weight loss. The benefits of the weight loss however far outweigh the risks of the excess weight. It depends of course how much weight you've lost, when you had the bypass, and your medical conditions. Recurrent UTI: You do have multiple organ problems. It is true that recurrent UTI could affect the kidney function, especially if you have pain.
