Are juice cleanses good for you or are the quackery?

Are juice cleanses good for you or are the quackery?

Depends: I advocate for juicing to help patients with energy and getting their 7-9 servings of fruits/veggies. I don't think you necessarily have to go on a juice cleanse unless an integrative physician recommends it. I think its better to eat natural, try elimination of foods that don't agree with you and a green drink or two daily to replenish (kale, spinach, cucumbers, apple, banana, ginger/lemon). ...Read more

Someone in my family is doing prescription fraud. What should I do?

Someone in my family is doing prescription fraud. What should I do?

Intervention: You can't accept responsibility for another person's behavior, but if this is affecting you, it's your business. Get help from a professional. All the rest of the immediate family members will need to go along with this. Confront the person, and nobody backs down. If the fraudster is also an important source of the family's income, things are even more difficult. Talk with wise people & good luck. ...Read more

Is this some sort of a new fraud and scamming people who feel desperate about what they claim their drug dose? Google "Growth-sinerama end" Thanks :)

No supplement needed: People who sell height-growth supplements just want your money. Most people reach their maximum height in their late teens. Without nutritional problems, hormone deficiencies, or chronic childhood illnesses, height is largely based on genetics and parental heights. Aside from eating right, exercising, sleeping well, and being happy, there's not much a person or a doctor can do to increase height. ...Read more
