Lots of mixed answers on smoking affects on teen growth, can someone put an end for it and tell me for sure if the growth stunted bc of the hookah?
Smoking what?: If it is tobacco, then smoking it through a hookah is no different than smoking it in any other kind of pipe, or in cigarettes - the water may cool the smoke, but it doesn't filter out any nicotine or tars. Yes, it does: Tobacco effects bone growth, and impairs healing. There is evidence that kids who smoke do not achieve their maximum height as much as siblings who do not start smoking. That is the least of what smoking does - various cancers, esp lung and mouth/throat, bronchitis and emphysema, premature heart disease with heart attack and stroke, and many many other illnesses.
