Health Benefits Of Camphor Eucalyptus Oil And Menthol
Olive oil is great: Olive oil is an omega 9 fat and is extremely healthy. Its regular use in a mediterrean diet has been shown to decrease heart disease, diabetes, and decrease inflammation. Lemon pepper is basically lemon juice spiced with pepper to help add flavor. It has not been associated with true medical benefits and the detox programs using it are not studied. I think its great to add for taste though. ...Read more

Limited: Coconut oil actually is not healthy but it is a good alternative to butter and margarine for baking purposes. Its main fat, a saturated fat called lauric acid, may have some anti-infection benefits and is believed to raise good cholesterol. However, few studies in humans have actually been done. Most studies done are from brazil and philippines, where coconut products are a major export. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Coconut oil i've read conflicting reports on the benefits or harm of coconut oil in the diet. Is non-hydrogenated okay or is any coconut oil dangerous? Guess i'm looking for further opinions.
Just : Just like everything else, there are pros and cons to taking coconut oil. Pro’s: it works well as a hair conditioner and as a skin moisturizer. It contains lauric acid which is antimicrobial. It is used in some cultures for wound care and for viruses. After drinking coconut oil some people feel full and it helps to suppress their hunger. There are many, many other conditions that it is puported to treat that have not been scientifically demonstrated at this time. Con’s: people who ingest a couple of tablespoons of coconut oil per day have a high incidence of nausea and vomiting. Coconut oil has the highest saturated fat content of all oils. One tablespoon of coconut oil contains more than 13 grams of fat. This could seriously impact your cholesterol levels. Because of the saturated fat content, this may not be the wonder solution that is purported. It sounds like it may work well for wrinkles, dry skin and split ends without detrimental impacts. ...Read more

Not usually.: Toenail fungus is very common, and unfortunately very difficult to cure 100%. We can test the nail to see if it is a callused or traumatized nail or if it is indeed fungus, and from there you have several options: topical or oral antifungal medications, laser nail treatment, or removal of the nail in severe cases. See your doctor to talk about which treatment is right for you. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I use oil mixture of almond, spearmint, and peppermint as toothpaste and mouth wash. Is excessive use harmful for oral health? Thanks.
All : All the substances you named can cause allergies and adverse reactions in certain individuals. They are not designed to be used as toothpaste. Why reinvent the wheel? There are so many toothpaste to choose from. Look for an american dental association approved toothpaste and you will not go wrong. Established companies such as crest, and colgate spend enormous amount of time and money on research. They have a lot to lose is their toothpaste does not do the job. It is far more important to worry about proper brushing technique. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
