I have been using vagasil in my clitoris since I had a tiny cut which is now healing I think. It burns when I wipe. Why? My butt also itches.
Had tick pulled out 3 weeks ago but now there is a lump and itches. Should I be concerned? Treatment?
Tick: Generally the rash from lyme (erythema migrans) does not itch and is not raised. What could cause a bump and itch is if part of the tick was left in and is causing an inflammatory reaction or your body is mounting a local allergic reaction to the body part. I would check to make sure some to the tick was not left behind. Should also have blood work for lyme anyway. ...Read more

Check again: I would thouroughly check your head and hair again for any remaining lice or nits. Often, many of the treatments need to be repeated one week after initial treatment. Also, keep in mind that the shampoos used to treat lice can cause some irritation to the scalp which can induce itching and may not represent a residual lice infestation. ...Read more
Itching can be part: Of the healing process. That is why cuts on the skin often itch while they heal, daring you to scratch it and risk breaking it open again. That is why sometimes a completely healed over scar can still itch. Having said that, worsening itching for weeks after an infection may also mean allergic or hypersensitivity reaction. So monitor the duration of the itch. ...Read more

Azole drug: Look for an over-the-counter product with active ingredient ending in "azole", e.g. clotrimazole, miconazole, terconazole, and others. All work equally well; you can choose the cheapest. It depends: Whether this is normal or a problem depends on several things including how long ago she had the surgery, whether it was laparoscopic or open, and how heavy she is.
