Wake with headache infalammation in spine an leg ache an trouble with balance an weakness fatigue is this migraine or what?

I would see a doctor: Waking up drained, unsteady & in pain and with a headache can be from several causes. One that I see frequently in my practice is nocturnal seizures. Most seizures are more likely to occur during sleep. Sometimes the only way to figure out that seizures have occurred is the patient comes in saying they feel lethargic and beat up when they awaken. Having had a lobectomy in 2010, I would get an EEG ...Read more

My 3yr has pains in her arms, legs and complained of tummy ache for 2 mnths, doc said nothing, now headaches, tired and has had 1 weird hallucination?

Go back: The list of possible causes to her symptoms is long. She may even have a central nervous system issue or infection like lyme disease. Often with a variety of symptoms as hers, you aren't given a diagnosis the first time you're evaluated so she needs to go back and ask the doctor to re-evaluate her for other causes. If you aren't comfortable with the evaluation and diagnosis get another opinion. ...Read more

Persistent painful headache for 3 days. Hasn't gone away at all. Sore achy stiff legs for same 3 days. What could be causing this?

Many things: It is hard to say whether or not the headache and achy stiff legs are caused by the same thing. You need a full history & physical, and possibly lab to make a diagnosis. Headaches usually fall into 3 categories: 1. muscle/tension 2. migraine and 3. other. The third category includes many uncommon and rare conditions, some serious and some not. As usual, a physician consult is indicated. ...Read more

I have recently started getting severe stabbing chest pains, headaches and my legs go tingly and sore to touch. Help?

Fever, headache, sore legs, rash (told viral) for 3 days. Then cough only for 2 days. Now back to fever, headache and sore legs. Still viral?

Hard to determine : Without seeing the rash and examining you, it's really tough to say whether viral. Chances are it is, as over 80% of these type scenarios are indeed viral. However, there are bacterial and ricketsial diseases that can do what you describe as well. Since you're not improving, it may be time to get reassessed and maybe even some lab work to see if this still fits the "just a virus" category. ...Read more
