You're anemic: Mild but you need to find the cause. The indices alone do not reliably distinguish thalassemia minor from iron deficiency from chronic inflammation. The cause of your symptoms is not the anemia. Continue the workup

Benzo taper down: Coming off a benzodiazepine like Klonopin (clonazepam) can cause withdrawal symptoms even when t is done slowly. It may take a couple of days to get over those but I advise that you let your provider know about this so he/she may let you know what is the next step. If symptoms get worse I would recommend you to go to the ed for immediate evaluation.

Headache/Facial pain: Were you taking Claritin (loratadine) specifically for the headache symptoms you are describing? Claritin (loratadine) is not indicated for headaches. If you have a history of environmental allergies that you are taking Claritin (loratadine) for, do continue to take it. Try an NSAID like advil, ibuprofen, Excedrin for headache. If it does help or you think this is different from your typical headache, go see you doctor asap.

Residuals of dentals: So sorry you're feeling this way. From your conditions listed certainly it would appear that your symptoms should have something to do with the dental problems you were having. Has that tooth been since extracted? Have you spoken with the dentist or oral surgeon about your current status? If you'd like to look me up at: www. Healthtap. Neck pain: Occipital neuralgia. The greater occipital nerve runs between the muscles of the neck and provides sensation to the scalp behind the ear and up to the back of the head. When the muscles are are in spasm, headaches and tingling occurs. The pain is relieved with massage, physical therapy, and injections of the occipital nerve. Sometimes a pinched nerve in the neck (C3/4) can cause similar pain.

I'm having strange headaches that are just on the back of my head - with burning tingling sensations on my head and face. What could it be?

It COULD be...: ...not saying it IS, but it COULD be, occipital neuralgia. This is often diagnosed and treated by neurologists but knowledge about this is not necessarily limited to neurologists. Astute and experienced PCPs can address this as well.

See your Doctor: Any headache always must be viewed as a valid medical disorder and the headache assessment must be comprehensive. It is important to make an accurate diagnosis to ensure that the correct treatment is given. See your PCP for consultation, tests and diagnosis.

Headaches: This could be a migraine variant. Migraines are usually one sided, and can have random neurological symtoms such as tingling, vision changes, nausea. If it persists or if you have any nausea or weakness associated with it, please see an M.D.

Occipital nerves: Occipital nerves run in the back of the head and I often see headache patients with tenderness in this area. Not unusual to see or hear for a neurologist and I'd say almost every headache patient I see has some degree of tenderness in this area. If its a problems, thing can be done to help out. See a neurologist that like to treat headaches.

More information: This sounds like a complicated issue. Consider doing a virtual visit where your issue can be examined in more detail. We need to know where on your body you feel warm sensations. When does it occur, what precipitates it? Other details are needed to help begin the evaluation.

Spinal or Epidural?: Did you have either a spinal or epidural anesthesia with your c sections? What you are describing could be a complication of that type of anesthesia. Evaluation by neurosurgeon including MRI scan with contrast at the spinal level where they did your spinal/epidural would be indicated as a starting point. An EMG/NCS would also be helpful along with thyroid function, calcium levels to start.
