At what point should you take B12 injections. Have been having extreme fatigue headaches with vision problems, leg pains, ringing in ears and dizzi?

Evaluation: Dear vonn, headaches have multiple causes. Is there any history of trauma to your head or neck? Do you have sinus issues? What is the location of the headache? Head pain can be due to problems in the neck, upper back or related to food sensitivity issues or hormones at times. I have episodes of a dilated pupil with headache, ringing in ears, feel strange and neck pain.Normal scans.I was prescribed depakote. Any ideas?
Need more info: I have a lot of questions I'd like to ask you. There's several possible diagnoses, and regardless of which one, Depakote is a medicine I'd hesitate to prescribe to a 29 year old woman. It has long term side effects including weight gain, hair loss, and tremor and can cause birth defects. Could be anemia: I assume that the pink spotting refers to vaginal discharge. Given you are female the remainder of the symptoms could be related to development of an anemia. If it is not around the time of your menses and you are spotting i would strongly suggest that you go be evaluated for possible pregnancy if you are sexually active; also CBC and iron studies to see if you are anemic regardless. ...Read more
