Headache Right Side Temple
What is causing my right eye pupil dilation? I have been suffering from grand mal seizures, with severe headaches, right side only temple swelling, right eye pupil dilation, and also a sore right beside the afflicted eye.
You: You should immediately make an appointment with an ophthalmologist and a neurologist. You don't say how long this has been going on, or whether your vision is affected, but there could be very serious problems. If this just started and you cannot get an appointment immediately, go to the emergency room.See 4 more doctor answers

Left side of eye got blurry lasted for a hour it went away then I felt a mild headache right side if temple area with nausea came suddenly.
Migraine: Your symptoms sound consistent with a migraine (classic). Often there is a visual event (scintillating scotoma) followed by a painful event (headache, nausea &/or vomiting in your case) that may last 1/2 hour to even a few days. The eye symptoms don't arise within the eye, but within the brain in areas subserving visual pathways. A family/neuro doc can treat symptoms, EyeMD to rule out eye problem
I have been diagnosed with Graves Disease. I suffer severely from headaches, only on the right side temple. It's not migraine. I am on 80mg beta blocker?
The beta blocker: Will only blunt some of the effects of the elevated thyroid level. The basic thyroid problem still needs to be treated either with radioiodine or anti-thyroid drigs. Work w/your physician, Also, have your eyes checked with an opthalmologist.
When I have a headache and shake my head it hurts intensely bad on left side near temple, is this normal?
Kinda sorta: Most people with bad headaches tend to remain still and quiet because movement tends to exacerbate there headaches. In your case, the left side of your head begins hurting much more when you move your head about by shaking. I don't know if that is common among headache people but it is true that there pain can get worse with movement. Www. Healthtap. Com/drsaghafi Key Code: PDXFNR
I have a headache on my left temple since last night and generally the left side of my head. Help what are these symptoms of?
What is happeninng to me? I hit my left temple slightly hard on the side of a couch. Now I'm still getting headaches hours later.
Don't worry: It's from bruising. Apply ice packs for the first 2 days, then warm compress. Take tylenol (acetaminophen) for headache. Headache may last for few days if you have these serious symptoms - passing out, persistent vomiting, visual blurring, weakness on one side of your body, then go see your dr. Imagine those boxers getting strong punches in the head and most of them are fine after the fight. Don't worry be happy.
For a while now I've been having achy headaches on and off on the left side of my head around my temple and a few inches higher. Should I worry?
See Dr. If persists: You said that you have a TMJ syndrome, which could be producing some of your symptoms. I would see a TMJ/TMD specialist to try to determine the source of your discomfort.
Had headache for 4 days. On the right side and my right temple hurts to touch it. Worst when I wake up but last all day. What could be causing it?
TMJ: Common TMJ symptom. Perhaps night time clenching. Other TMJ symptoms include painful or limited oral opening, jaw clicking, If this is you, see TMJ expert. Consult specialist: It could be migraine or something more serious. If your pcp has not figured out the cause, you should consult a neurologist who speciaizes in diagnosis and treatment of headaches.
I rarely have headaches, but I've had one pretty constantly for the past five days. It's only on the right side of my head and its from my temple to the back of my head. What could this be?
Multiple: Possibilities: most likely a muscle contraction headache; however. migraine and temporal arteritis should be ruled out as should any underlying neurological diseases. Why have you waited 5 days with a headache? Get examined and treated TODAY. Close your computer and call your physician, clinic, ER or urgent care center: NOW!
I reached under the couch to get something then when I went to stand up, I hit the right side of my head on a wooden ottoman in the temple. It was more like the corner poked me in the temple. It hurt but not severe pain....today I have no headache, or rea
No other problem?: Seems you were fortunat. Do pay attention, but if nothing unusual shows, you are probably fine. If you are over 60, there is some risk for internal bleeding to build up over a few days, but just be alert to anything odd. Be more careful about collisions with furniture. ;-)
I have "ice pick" headaches, every so often. They always occur in the same place, left side just past the temple. What does this mean?
It means that...: ...you have "ice pick" headaches, every so often, & they always occur in the same place, left side just past the temple. Your headaches are your headaches, and this is just what yours are like. As long as they chronically don't change, their quality & location don't signify anything dangerous, if that's what you're worried about.
Burning headache on right side. Varies in length present. Pain Can be recreated when pressing above the right temple. Has been daily for 2 months?
Not normal: See a doctor what you describe is not normal a doctor can evaluate you either will assure you or treat you
Why sometimes my left side of my head hurts by my temple? I have slight sharp pains. It doesn't feel like a headache. It would happen then go away
Neuralgia: Neuralgia is a condition causing sharp, shooting pains coming from nerves in the scalp area and not from brain pathology. They are more of a nuisance disorder than anything serious. If symptoms worsen have your md check you and order any pertinent tests however.
I've been having progressive headaches for 3, going on 4 weeks. These are mostly confined to the right side of my head, worse at the temple area. I wake up with them, might get a couple hour break mid morning and they are back by noon. The pain is not unb
Few issues: First of all Need a better history so start with this. Did you have any head trauma or injury. Is there any hx of ha in the family. Have you ever been evaluated for headaches? I don't like the thought of them waking you up. Do they or do you wake and then get the headache? You need to be examined and have lab work and possibly scanned for the etiology of the symptoms
See your doctor: While these two symptoms are likely unrelated, if the pain in either spot is constant, increasing or unrelieved with simple over-the-counter pain medications, then you should see your physician. If you are female, a gynecologist can address the pelvic pain (spleen in in the upper left part of the abdomen), and can refer you to someone for your headaches.
Headache: If you have a headache that's new onset in the temporal region, please be seen promptly. Supraorbital symptoms is often over half of the head towards the apex.
I get frequent headaches on the right side of my head around the temple and forehead. Why could this be?
Been having a stabbing pain in the right side temple and has had a headache for the last 3 days, says it's hard to rapidly focus...possible reasons?
Keep a headache log: There are many types of headaches and many reasons for each type. It would be helpful for you to keep a headache calendar by noting down the frequency, duration, location, characteristics, and intensity of your headaches, along with associated symptoms. Take the headache calendar with you to your primary care physician for dicussion. Http://www. Nlm. Nih. Gov/medlineplus/headache. Html
Got headache on left side of the head near temples. Pain is like a heartbeat comes and goes every second. Really hurts. Can I miss school. What to do?
Could be dental: I would seek out medical attention first and rule out medical perpetuating factors. After your physician finds no medical issues I would ask your dentist about muscle tension headaches and go thru a consult and diagnosis for tmd. I spend 6-8 weeks with my clients and if your pain goes away which of course only you know I would continue with therapy. Therapy is a plastic appliance that stretches.
