Fever, chills, headache, fatigue, sore itchy throat, nausea, sore joints am muscles. Fever went away yesterday with tylinol. What so I have?

Probable viral: All of these symptoms are nonspecific but certainly very compatable with a viral illness that usually is self limited and will pass in 3-5 days. If symptoms persist you need to be seen as there are other, possibly more significant illnesses that could be brewing - like strep throat, etc.

Flu for 5 days despite of flu shot. Still have fever, aches, chills, no appetite, mild cough, headache, exhaustion. Still contagious? How long?

See your doctor.: One of the biggest problems from the flu is the chance of secondary bacterial infections, including sinusitis and pneumonia. Fever for 3-4 days can be normal, but with 5 days of it, it is time to be seen. You are contagious for 5-7 days after the onset of symptoms. If you have shortness of breath, dizziness, blurry vision, go to the ER. The vaccine only protects 60% of folks.

My 14 year old son feels like he has a fever, headache, and is fatigued even though his temperature is normal. This happens around 6 - 8pm every night?

Needs a check up: Recurrent headache and fatigue with suspected nighttime fevers suggest a need for a detailed assessment for the reason for your son's symptoms. The duration of symptoms is not clear but if these have persisted for more than 1 week, it will be necessary to screen for an infectious or an autoimmune process. Take care.

Having fever chills throughout with bodyaches and sometym headaches?

Having fever chills throughout with bodyaches and sometym headaches?

Fever: Well this is somewhat difficult as there are many possibilities. Given your age I would consider a viral illness such as the flu but many viruses can cause your symptoms. Since you are a female, also would consider urinary infection. If you have burning when you pee see a doctor. Hope you feel better!

Energetic four year old with sudden fatigue and headache as well as 101.8 fever that comes and goes?

Energetic four year old with sudden fatigue and headache as well as 101.8 fever that comes and goes?

Humph: A 4 year old can usually complain of other symptoms. Anything else? Fever can cause fatigue and often a headache. If he complains of sore throat or earache he might need to be seen for antibiotics but the odds are it is a viral illness and if you don't give meds you will watch the temp rise and fall on its own. If it goes up and stays up take him to the dr.
