I've been getting frequent headaches and nosebleeds. I have diabetes only happens when i take care of my self.. Is it my meds or something else?

Should not be meds: If you do not take anything but the Insulin you list. It is probably from dryness. Try putting a cool mist humidifier in your room and coat your nose with ayr nasal gel with vaseline over it at night when you sleep. It should help. To stop a nose bleed hold your nose at the end of the cartiledge as hard as you can for 1-0 minutes by the clock.Good work taking care of yourself ! ...Read more

I always get nosebleeds. Should i go to the hospital? My nosebleeds happen randomly, sometimes after a headache. My nosebleeds can last for a long time and the blood is always crimson red and thick. Today though, a water-like substance began to run from m

Unless : Unless your nosebleed is profuse, and not stopping with conventional measures ( pressure, restricted activity, head elevation, ice compresses, etc.) you probably don't need to run to the hospital and run up a morer expensive bill. Not likely to be: related. The yeast infection can be treated with over the counter meds. The headache is not unusual but the nose bleed should be checked by a ENT. This may mean you have a nasal infection or could just be related to a severe cold with nose running and constant blowing. See your doc for further advice. ...Read more

Petechia + febrile: It sounds like many viral syndromes. If you are blowing your nose, that could account for nosebleeds. the bruising is worrisome if there was no trauma to account for it. EBV, CMV, Influenza, hemorrhagic fevers, but also low platelets, RMSF, and N. meningitis, and scarlet fever may cause that sign. Any foreign travel? Cat scratch? Parvo virus can decrease platelets. Please seek help ASAP, ER. ...Read more

Otolaryngologist: I recommend an examination by an otolaryngologist as well as a blood pressure check in view of frequent nosebleeds. However these are commonly due to excessive dryness in your home causing a cracking of nasal membrane and veins there. You may need cauterization of the area if the nose bleed is always from the same nostril. Add a humidifier, apply a tiny amount of Vaseline to your nostrils nightly ...Read more
