Beyond that, is there a possibility you have sleep apnea? Are you overweight? Carbon dioxide retention can cause morning headaches and this is commonly seen with sleep apnea. Tension headaches: What treatment have you had for these tension headaches? Your meds show some non-steroidals, and these can work acutely. There are also helpful preventive treatments: low dose amitriptylene, for instance, decreases pericranial muscle soreness, decreasing peripheral pain sensation & central sensitization. Ear Nose Throat Dr.: Ent doctor should help. Try nasal decongestant. Note, some don't mix well with high blood pressure. Steam clears sinuses but don't spill hot water on yourself in the process! (more common than you would think). Anti-allergy meds (not benadryl!) on a regular basis once clear passages. ...Read more
