Headache Advil Not Working
I'm taking lovenox and have terrible migraine. Tylenol not helping headache. What stronger headache med ok to take with lovenox?
Be careful : Good that you asked, lovenox is an anticoagulant (blood thinner) and any any drug in this category would interact with other medicines, unfortunately, most severe headache medicines would contain aspirin or NSAIDs, both can interact with blood thinners and increase the risk of bleeding. What is the best/most effective otc med for tension headache? Aspirin, ibuprofen, Aleve or Tylenol (acetaminophen)? Or do they all work equally well?
Whats better for sinus pain. Tylenol (acetaminophen) sinus or Advil sinus. Not a huge fan of Advil just cause it seems to not work on migraine pain as well.

Advil=Ibuprofen: Ibuprofen is an NSAID or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Naproxen is another example of this. Both are available over-the-counter w/o prescription. Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Acetaminophen is not an nsaid. Nsaids can irritate your stomach & cause gastritis or worse, eg ulcers. So can you take advil? Yes. Should you take advil? I don't know.
