BPPV: This is likely benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. Annoying as heck, but not to worry about. It is due to crystals that have gotten out of position in the inner ear and they usually work their way back into place. 2 possibilities: You may have BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo). This is a self-limited inner ear problem caused by loose otoconia (calcium carbonate stones) in the inner ear which move with position. Vertigo: If the sensation is that of "spinning" and not lightheadedness, it suggests vertigo which is usually attributed to an inner ear abnormality involving the cochlea, a fluid-filled structure which plays an important roll in maintaining ones sense of balance. When tiny grains floating in the fluid get caught on tiny sensors (cilia), one experiences severe vertigo. She should see an ear specialist. ...Read more

Last couple of weeks whenever i stand up from sitting of laying down. My head spins badly n everything around gets black so i kind of tends to fall. ?

Postural issues?: As described, you appear to have some sort of postural issues, such as Low blood pressure possibly occuring with the change of your body posture.
