Head Rush While Laying Down
I've suddenly felt a rush of blood/pressure on my head and it felt uncomfortable. It lasted 15/20 seconds, I was laying down. What can cause this?
Probably not serious: This could have been a sign that your blood pressure is high, or could have just been a temporary feeling of anxiety, etc. If you aren't having any other symptoms, and your blood pressure is normal, I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it keeps happening. Postural issues?: As described, you appear to have some sort of postural issues, such as Low blood pressure possibly occuring with the change of your body posture. No: The main thing you worry about here is cardiac issues. I would recommend you have a cardiac workup to be safe. Beyond cardiac, you may have decreased blood pressure when standing, or orthostatic hypotension, still need to be assessed for this. You may be dehydrated as this can mimic many of the same symptoms.
