Probably migraine: Sinus headache is also a possibility, but it is usually accompanied by yellow or green nasal discharge. Meningitis is a consideration as well, especially if there is fever, in which case make it quickly to an ER. Sinus congestion: When discomfort in the head or temple area as you describe occurs upon postural changes then, the most likely explanation is that of increased pressure in the head causing expansion of fluid which may be in your sinuses.
