Head Lice Rash On Neck
No: Head lice are actually more dependent on the shape and nature of the hair shaft, not of the condition of your scalp. They like to attach to fine, thin hairs. You also need to be exposed to get head lice - they don't just happen because of any skin conditions. However, once your scalp is infested, irritation from them biting the scalp can certainly lead to intense itching and scalp irritation.
Lymph nodes?: The lumps you describe sound like swollen lymph nodes (or glands). They could be a response to the rash. Sometimes a rash can indicate an infection, one of the common reasons for swollen lymph nodes.
Svr head/ear itch with bad neck rash. Did two lice trtmnt and nothing came off. Son had lice. In a lot of pain. Constant itch/scratch till bleed.
Sinus problem +?: The stuffy nose, pressure in head and ears, and coughing sound like a sinus and/or middle ear infection. The other possibility is environmental allergies to something unr sensitive to. The rash on the neck? Not usually part of above possibilities. May be a separate problem, possibly even a skin allergy to a contactant. If throat is sore or fever, worrisome. See you pcp.
When you are ill: It sure sounds like you are ill. You have a series of symptoms that do not fit one pattern. Based upon the variety of your symptoms I believe you need to be seen by your family physician soon. However, if the neck stiffness worsens or if you have a fever you need to be seen urgently.
Scab on my arm that I picked. Now its red and hot to the touch, rash on neck, left eye swollen and puffy?
I've had sore in both nostrils off and on for the last month and a half, rash on neck, face and chest and fluid in the ears. Any idea what this is?
Allergy: The variety of symptoms that you are describing sounds like a viral infection. The middle ear fluid should cause a hearing loss. Sores in the nose for a month and a half have no relation to middle ear fluid. A rash on the neck, face, and chest along with the middle ear fluid sounds like a viral infection or most likely an allergic problem. See you primary care doctor for an evaluation.
Been taking apo-sulfatrim for four days, developed a rash on neck and weird red spots on roof of mouth, tingling all over body. What should I do?
Discontinue: Stop taking the medicine. It sounds like you may have an allergy to the medicine. If you continue taking the medicine, there is a chance that you can go into anaphylactic shock. If it is bad enough, death will soon follow. I'd call your doc and let him/her know. You may have allergy to sulfa drugs.See 1 more doctor answer

4yr son on antibioticfor ear infect. Day 11 got a fever & bad cough. Lower legs hurt so bad couldn't walk. Leg pain gone but now rash on neck & back?
Lots of effort: There is a large movement to not coat the head with Permethrin or lindane due to potential neurotoxicity, and the risk is relevant. Non medicated products like licemd or ovid are effective, but nothing works better than the nit-loosening gel (ok, so it's not totally natural), the fine toothed comb, and lots of time and effort getting out all nits and lice. Then repeating the effort.See 1 more doctor answer
Lice Head: Mature head lice are approximately the size of a sesame seed, don't hop or jump and lay eggs called nits that stick to the hair shaft. Main symptoms are severe itching especially at night when they feed. Due to this, scratch marks on the skin can be visible. You may also find swollen glands at the back of the ears school nurses are very familiar with them. You can consult your doctor if uncertain.
Call your doctor: There are medications that can be used to kill the lice. Use them as directed (very important!). Wash all the bed linens in hot water and remove any stuffed animals, pillows that your child sleeps with until they are cleaned. Comb all the nits until they are no longer appearing- this is very time-consuming, but necessary.
Itching, or none: Many children have no symptoms whatsoever, despite a good-sized infestation. Other children may have itching or a rash around the scalp. The diagnosis is made by finding live lice and/or nits in the hair. To check for lice, use a very fine-toothed comb to comb through wet hair section by section, looking for nits and adult lice.
New activity: You can be infested with juvenile lice before they start laying eggs & not recognize the activity. If you have removed the egg casings & killed the lice, you must wait out the next 2 weeks to see if you have got them all. Any that were missed or hatching new would take up to 10 days to mature & lay recognizable eggs.
