Can you really measure head and femur lenghts in ultrasound? What does that mean? I had an ultrasound done on my 26 week old baby and the doctor said the femur length measued 26 weeks, but the head an abdomen were 29 weeks. Is this a sign of a deformity
I've had a ct scan of my head and a MRI of my neck and head. They were fine. Also had a X-ray of my c spine and it showed a possible deformity. Symptoms are getting worst , can barely walk now. Very off balance. Life threatening?
Second opinion: Not normal, and so it very much comes down to specific diagnosis. Some conditions are easily senn in structural studies such as an MRI or ct scan, but some are not seen on tests like that. ALS is one example.
