I think your: Ok. There's probably no underlying damage. If we all went to the er for a head ct every time we bumped it, healthcare costs would be even greater. Professional boxers don't go in for a head ct after every fight; not yet at least. I can't say u don't have a skull fracture or that your not gonna have a concussion. Don't worry: Your symptoms would be lots of headaches(probably excruciating pain) or loss of consciousness due to pressure in your brain. Very unlikely you would show consequences by now, after several months. ...Read more

By CT??: Confused about how you know you had bleeding on your frontal lobe? By ct? If so, why did you get the ct if no head trauma? Really hard to answer this question without more info. Good luck! ...Read more

I hit my head a few months back on a nail sticking out in my attic. I'm 24 got my tetanus shot at 12 should I be worried? I don't remember bleeding . Wouldn't I have symptoms I'm scared already of tetanus if I was going to get it

Don't worry: No need to worry that the injury caused tetanus at this point, You are, however, overdue for a booster so please see your doctor for one now. Be sure o catch up on all your vaccines. Tetanus is not likely to result from clean nail in an attic. ...Read more

Need evaluation: It is possible that you suffered some sort of damage to the middle ear with resulting hearing loss - which would be the main cause of the tinnitus. It would be advisable to see an ENT physician for a complete exam of the ears - including hearing test. ...Read more

Hit back of head on table- pain & a bump but no bleeding, dizziness, vision issues, other headache, etc. Briefly felt Very slightly dazed. I'm planning to wait tonight and go to the doctor tomorrow if I have/develop worrying symptoms. Is this okay?

Yes: As long as not vomiting or severe headache or dizzy it is best to rest and put ice on your head and take some tylenol (acetaminophen). Sounds like you may have a mild concussion. ONly reason I could think which would warrant immediate attention with your current symptoms is if you were on a blood thinner. ...Read more
