I've been on 50 mgs lopressor (metoprolol tartrate) 2x daily and 25mgs 1x daily of hctz for almost a year. How do you recommend tapering off. It's caused 60 lbs weight gain?
I've been on 100mgs of lopressor (metoprolol tartrate) and 25mgs of hctz daily for almost a year and the weight gain is outrageous. Any tips on how to start weaning off?
Weight gain: You need to speak to your physician (p) about your weight gain. Are you gaining water weight, edema (e), or are you gaining fat weight?
