Hcg Levels Normal For Weeks Of Pregnancy
Is 11, 000 hCG level normal for a 9 week pregnancy? I have also been bleeding and spotting for the past month.
Possible: The best use of your HCG level is to follow & see if a viable pregnancy is forming. At 11, 000.0 - a fetal pole should be visible on ultrasound exam. A normal pregnancy should also have increasing titers & usually doubles every 48 hours early in pregnancy. Spotting is common early in pregnancy & until the above is done, we can't say if your pregnancy is viable or not. Good luck. ...Read more
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
If my hCG level is at 35 6 weeks after my medical abortion is that normal? Could this be a new pregnancy?
Doubtful: The normal pituitary gland produces a small amount of HCG with levels ranging from 1 to 32 and it takes a while for levels to go back down to normal after a pregnancy. I would suggest you repeat your level in a week or two and make sure it is not increasing. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

BHCG: Typically a pregnancy can be seen around a BHCG of 2000. Some variation is expected depending on the skill of the sonographer and the quality of the machine. My hCG levels have been slowly increasing over a week. on wed they were 18 Friday 31.9 Monday 73 and wed 114. I do believe I am 3-4 weeks. Is this normal? My Ob is saying that this will be a bad pregnancy.
No: The levels are expected to rise faster in a normal pregnancy at least doubling every 3 days. This is definitely worrisome. Of course there is always the possibility of lab error and, unless you are having other symptoms, I'd advise just watching it a little while longer. Best wishes. ...Read more

Hcg levels: Rising hcg's are reassuring. However, i usually want to see a Progesterone level in patients at risk of ectopic, especially if plateau of HCG is noted. Most (but not all) ectopics have very low Progesterone levels. Often times even lower than an early miscarriage. See if your OB is comfortable with ordering and interpreting Progesterone levels. ...Read more
