HCG: The HCG is the same test. However, the hcg at the beginning of pregnancy is very variable. When you have the test doen in the second trimester, it is looking for markers for Down's Syndrome and risk rates. So, it does not necessarily mean your quad screen will be elevated again. ...Read more

No valid: So it just so happens that you checked your hormones levels at probably the worse time. If you want to know more about your ovaries, they you want to check on day 1, 2 or 3 of your period. If you want to know more about your ovulation, you would check your progesterone 1 week before your period. So not sure what to make of hormones drawn at this time. ...Read more
