Hcg level went up after 3 weeks of miscarriage?

Possible Pregnancy: Whatever clots or specimen you had when you had the miscarriage should have been examined by the pathologist to determine the presence of embryonic or fetal parts because otherwise the HCG elevation means you still have the conceptus/embryonic/fetal parts inside you. Other possibility is a growing tumor that is secreting hcg. ...Read more

Could be normal..: Your level may never reaches zero--as some nonpregnant females have level at 3-4 all the time, up to 5 is considered normal. Having a miscarriage just few weeks ago, your next period may not be normal--could be lighter or heavier than usual. If you are concerned that you could be pregnant again, do a quick hpt. Consult with doc. Good luck. ...Read more
