HCG high for 5 weeks 3 days. What does this indicate? HCG level 22,000. Ultrasound showed gestational and yolk sac.
Likely normal: HCG levels vary widely in normal pregnancies and 22000 after 5 weeks is likely in the normal range. See this site for more info. http://americanpregnancy.org/while-pregnant/hcg-levels/ ...Read more
An ultraound, also known as a sonogram, is a painless and relatively inexpensive imaging test that utilizes sound waves instead of ionizing radiation. There are no side effects. Ultrasound can give us two-dimensional, and in some applications three-dimensional, images of structures and organs in virtually any part of the body. In addition to diagnostic uses, such as evaluating abnormalities in the abdomen, pelvis, and breast, ultrasounds are commonly used to guide needle and catheter placement in a variety of surgical ...Read more
My hcg level 28 000 and ultrasound showed sac but no baby er dr told me i had a miscarriage. But i am not bleeding or cramping could i have been early?
Hcg levels: Sometimes nothing is present until 3000plus. When a pregnancy shows up on Ultrasound varies. I tend to repeat levels to see if rising appropriately (at least 15-20%) in 3 days is ok and most of my early pregnancies I do a progesterone level. Most ectopic or non viable pregnancies will quickly drop progesterone below 2. See if your doc will order another hcg and progesterone or repeat US 1 wk. ...Read more

My hCG level is 400 and they can't see anything on the ultrasound, is this normal? I'm not sure how far along i am.
Talk to your doctor!: Hcg - the hormone of pregnancy - will double every two to three days during the first part of the pregnancy. By the time the HCG is over 1500, the pregnancy can usually be seen on ultrasound. A low HCG level can mean a woman is having a miscarriage, but it might also mean a tubal or ectopic pregnancy, which can be dangerous to you. Non viable pregnancy: In a viable pregnancy hcg concentrations typically double every 48 hours. If this is not the case, and if moreover hog concentrations start to drop again, then there is concern for an impending miscarriage. If more than one sac is seen in early pregnancy on ultrasound this can indicate that there is a twin pregnancy. ...Read more

My last period was 5/18 my hCG level was 386.0 today my levels were 92000 but my ultrasound only showed a sac. Is this normal?
Probably not: If you had and HCG level of 386 taken 7 weeks ago, i would expect a fetal pole and a heart beat. You could have lost that pregnancy and gotten pregnant again but would have noticed bleeding and then i wouldn't expect your HCG level to be so high. You should be following up with your physician soon. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
