Hcg levels at 2600. Ultrasound Shows nothing. Why?!

Hcg levels: Sometimes nothing is present until 3000plus. When a pregnancy shows up on Ultrasound varies. Most ectopic or non viable pregnancies will quickly drop progesterone below 2. See if your doc will order another hcg and progesterone or repeat US 1 wk. ...Read more

Talk to your doctor!: Hcg - the hormone of pregnancy - will double every two to three days during the first part of the pregnancy. By the time the HCG is over 1500, the pregnancy can usually be seen on ultrasound. A low HCG level can mean a woman is having a miscarriage, but it might also mean a tubal or ectopic pregnancy, which can be dangerous to you. Please talk to your doctor and get your questions cleared up! ...Read more
