Hcg Level At 4 Weeks Pregnant
My hCG levels at 4 weeks pregnant was 1554 I restested 48hours later n doctor said it doubled from 1554 is this a good level for 4 weeks pregnant?
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
I have a cyst and I'm 4 weeks pregnant my HCG level is 2400 but the doc doesn't see my babe what could b wrong?
Nothing likely: We don't usually see the baby until at least 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 weeks. In addition that cyst is probably your corpus luteum and it supplies the progesterone you need to stay pregnant until your placenta takes over production around 12 weeks. See if your Ob will repeat the hcg as it should continue to rise if this is a normal pregnancy. A repeat US in a couple weeks may be a good idea too. ...Read more
All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, the level seems higher than usual and you should discuss it with your doctor to check of twin pregnancy or other explanation.

Quality not quantity: When pregnant and healthy, a qualatative test stating positive or negative is useful. A quantatative test, which gives you a number is not used for or useful for dating the baby, as there are "ranges" for example that can go from 2-6 weeks. An ultrasound would be best for the definitive dating of your baby. Best wishes. ...Read more
Just found out am 4 weeks pregnant, but my hcg levels droppes from 47 to 31. Please what does that mean?
HcG should rise...: In early pregnancy, HcG levels should increase by at least 50% in 48 hours. If they are declining over this time-frame it means you may be headed for a miscarriage. I'm sorry : (. (If these values were drawn at two different labs on the same day, it can be meaningless lab variation). Best wishes! ...Read more

Hi I'm a 4 weeks pregnant I'm having no bleeding or camping my hCG levels are low. They did do a ultra sound didn't see anything in my tubes or a sac?
Too early: It may be too early for them to have saw something inside the uterus. If your pregnancy test is positive by blood or urine than you are pregnant. It could just be that you need a little bit more time before able to see something via ultrasound. One option would be to repeat the carmona pregnancy and 48 hours by a blood test. Another option would be to repeat the ultrasound in one week. ...Read more
I am almost 4 weeks pregnant had spotting 3 days ago now red bleeding when I pee. Hcg levels were 412 two days ago and 544 today. Is that good?
Hcg levels: In early pregnancy, HCG levels are expected to approximately double every 48 hours. When doubling does not happen we suspect abnormal pregnancy. However, there are occasional normal pregnancies that may not follow the HCG rules. Therefore it is extremely important to continue close monitoring of this pregnancy with your physician. ...Read more
Probably not: An HCG level this low will usually go to essentially zero without any intervention, such as a d;c. However, it is unusual for the HCG level to stay at 10 for more than a few weeks. Make sure you have a gynecologist following you closely with HCG levels. I have seen one patient recently where it took 10 weeks for such a low level to go to zero. It is unlikely to be a new pregnancy (but not imposs). ...Read more

Four weeks pregnant light bleeding that stopped still positive on home pregnancy tests hCG level on Tuesday was 24 and Thursday was 23. Any hope?
Hcg levels: It really shouldn't go down. However, if the tests were done at 2 different labs you can't compare the two being a couple days apart. I would repeat the level in about a week. Might be a good idea to check a progesterone level as well as very low levels are associated with miscarriage or tubal pregnancy. ...Read more
How high does hCG level have to be before a hpt will show positive? I had a miscarriage four weeks ago but am having pregnancy symptoms again.
Blood level greater:
Than 5 units of HCG is generally used as the diagnostic level. Urine tests are less sensitive and depend on the concentration of urine. If you are more than two weeks past your expected period, do a hpt with first morning urine and see this site for info.

Hi there if I calculated right im about 4 weeks pregnant. My hCG is 30 on the blood work that came back. Going 2 test in two days. Worried! Is it bad?
Earlier: At an HCG level of only 30, this indicates that you are much earlier than you think based on this lab test. You are definitely pregnant but have this lab retested in about 48 hours. Within that timeframe, most HCG levels will double. ...Read more

Not normal pregnancy: If your hCG level has dropped from 120 to 5, you don't have a normal pregnancy. It sounds like a miscarriage has occurred.
