Hcg Doubling Time
My Hcg doubling time went from 42 hours to 68 hours. Does this mean I'm most likely going to miscarry. ?
It really depends: The significance of doubling time depends on how far along you are in pregnancy. The rate of increase in HCG peaks at about 8-10 weeks then starts declining after that. If you're less than 8-10 weeks along, then a combination of symptoms, clinical judgment and serial ultrasounds are at least as important as HCG levels in determining the fate of your pregnancy. Please talk to your OB. ...Read more

Dpo/hcg levels: 14=233; 15=389; 16=683; 19=2821; 21=4643; 22=6533; 24=9596 (86 hrs doub. Time). Can high early hCG = earlier decline in doubling time?
Not really!: The 'doubling time' is not strict, it's a rough guide. Normal pregnancies may only go up by 2/3 in 2 days not 'twice.' furthermore each level is accurate to about +/- 15%, they are not 100%. Your numbers look normal, i wouldn't wear out your calculator doing this kind of thing. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

My hcg was 31 at 13dpiui and 50 at 15dpiui. My doctor didn't seem optimistic. It's about a 70hr doubling time. Can it still be ok?
Yes: Over 48 hours, it should go up by 50% and not necessarily double. Keep following it. As long as its rising by 50% every 48 hours, you can still have a normal pregnancy. ...Read more
My HCG levels at 17DPO were 261, at 21DPO they were 669. This is a doubling time of 70 hours. What are my chances of a healthy pregnancy?
Previous mc. Pregnant after one cycle. 14dpo hCG 174. 48hrs later 342. Progesterone 54. Viable pregnancy according to doubling time and progesterone?

Hcg beta at 14dpo=70 16dpo=106. Doubling time= 80 hours. What are chances of miscarriage? Slow x2 time happened to me in last (healthy) pregnancy too.
May be normal: You cannot predict anything from these data. Do not take the "doubling time" too literally, there is some variability and 166% increase in 48 hours is still within normal many times. Good wishes. ...Read more
14dpo hCG 174, 16dpo hCG 342, 22dpo hCG 5656, progesterone 54. Could fast doubling time indicate molar pregnancy?
No: Molar pregnancies are almost never diagnosed this early. Good news! The hCG is rising at a mostly appropriate rate, the "doubling time" is not exact. Why are so many quants being done so many days in a row? ...Read more
