Hcg Doubling Every 3 Days
Hcg doubling every 6 days, no pain or bleeding, dr thinks tubular, 5 weeks now, wouldn't I be in pain or have other noticable symptoms?
Ectopic: Ectopic pregnancies do not always cause pain or external bleeding. You can feel just fine until it suddenly ruptures causing life threatening bleeding.
My hCG level day 28 was 37 three days later 50 three days after that 90. I'm worried these levels are too low for a viable pregnancy and not doubling?
Unclear: You are really early, I would recommend repeating again and as long as you have no symptoms of miscarriage continue to be optimistic for now.
1st hcg ~14 dpo (15 days after +opk), 37. ~16 dpo, 58. ~18 dpo, 76. The #s are rising but not doubling in 72 hrs. Doubling every 92. Viable pregnancy?
Increase of HCG: I am satisfied if the HCG is increasing at least close to 50% every 48 hrs. I also look at the progesterone level to make sure it is elevated enough. 100% increase is not the norm although I have seen that as well. I find your levels within normal range. What is the concern for drawing the labs. Is this an IVF pregnancy?
I recently had an ultrasound that showed a markedly thickened and irregular stripe, 23mm. My hcg levels are more than doubling every two days,?
See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, rapidly doubling HCG levels mean pregnancy or tumor of the chorionic tissue. You need to discuss it the the doctor who is ordering the tests.
My HCG levels are slowly rising but not doubling every 2 days. If I don't miscarry, will my baby have health issues due to chromosome problems?
Dr pls advise me of b hcg doubling in every 36 hours indicate molar pregnancy? I'm 5 w 2 days my level is 3222 now
Not necessarily: An HCG that doubles in 36 hours does not necessarily mean a molar pregnancy. I would recommend a repeat level in 48-72 hours and an ultrasound in one week to be sure what is going on. The good news is that the HCG is rising so the pregnancy is living and growing. Your dates could be off slightly, it could be a multiple gestation, or there could be a lab error. One lab value seldom means anything.
5 weeks pregn. Hcg only 434 but been doubling every 2 days. Progesterone 17.1. Concerned? Lab repeat and us tomorrow but dr not optimistic. Concur? Hope?
Non-specific: Too non-specific to say now. Progesterone is fine at 17. If HCG continues doubling you'll be at over 3000 in less than a week, a tranvaginal ultrasound is extremely reliable before then.
My beta hcg was 60 at 12dpo and 150 at 15dpo so doubling every 54 hours, is this within the normal range or should it be doubling every 48 hours?
Wide variation: There is a wide range of normal HCG levels in normal pregnancies. What you described is in the normal range.
I'm approx 5 wks of. Having lower then usual hCG levels but they are doubling every 48 hrs...is this OK since they are doubling? Should I be concerned?
Would recommend u/s: Although probably nothing to worry about I would still recommend an early ultrasound
My HCG levels were doubling every 48 hours; but during this week (week 5) the levels only increased 1point in 48 hours! What can this mean?
Get an ultrasound.: If you go to an ER and get an ultrasound it will answer your question.See 1 more doctor answer
Good day, my HCG level are not doubling every 48 hrs, as per example I was at 2645 and 92 hrs latter I was at 7100. My doc is concern, should be I?
Not yet: On many occasions, pregnancies proceed to be just fine even without the typical doubling. Hopefully, your OB will request an ultrasound, get a baseline reading, and then do a follow up scan as appropriate. Best Wishes
My hCG levels are not doubling every 48 doc said definite miss carriage in the sights is this true?
Threatened, yes: Depends on what they are doing--if close to 2x/2d, or if doubling every 3 days, probably ok. If slow upward climb, or plateau, or drifting down, then unfortunately, yes, miscarriage likely. Try not to be too disappointed if happens--when early, usually indicator of misaligned chromosomes / nonviable pregnancy so body stops process early so can try again--no maternal action/inaction to blame.
Had hCG level tested 18 DPO was 1300 21 DPO was 3000 doctor said she expected to see it double every 72 hrs cos its was over 1300 but its doubling every 50 hrs can it indicate multiples is it high?
Normal range: It sounds like your HCG is doubling appropriately. An ultrasound in the next two weeks will appropriately identify baby number and heartbeat if all is progressing well.See 1 more doctor answer
What causes late rising HCG levels? I mean I was 6 weeks pregnant but hCG was 148 then it still going doubling normally every 48 hours. But only sac
Early: An HCG of 148 is very early. As long as it is rising like you describe, it's a good sign. You don't expect to see a sac until the HCG reaches 1500 to 2000, and you won't see an embryo for at least another 1-2 weeks, and then just a small blip on the screen. If you are 6 weeks, though, you would expect to see something. Perhaps you are not as far along as you think.
Hcg 11, 563, 5 days later 22, 516. True that doubling times increase with higher numbers? Could this be ok? Spoke w/nurse gave me #'s only :- (
Mar 17 hCG level was 17201. March 18 u/s showed hb & 6 weeks 5 days. March 20 hCG level only 23315. Is this low doubling rate a concern if prev m/c?
Defer to your Doctor: This does not in any way represent a healthy pregnancy. But, you failed to share with us what the doctor caring for you has reported or predicted or recommended. Given the gravity of the nature I would defer to the expert on the ground.
Hcg not doubling. 13dpo was 94 and went to 141 in 48 hours then 289 then 481 then 770 and showed small sac on u/s. 7 days later went to 2409, viable?
HCG doubling: The rule of thumb of doubling per 48 hours is a LOOSE estimate. At least 66% increase per 48 hours is still a good sign. And sometimes it can be a "staggered" rise, with a rise of less than 66% followed by a rapid rise. Overall 66% rise per 48 hours averaged over the testing time would be reassuring for viability. Are you saying it took 7 days to go from 770 to 2409?
