Progesterone and hCG levels early pregnancy after ivf?

Ok: Most ivf clinics only measure HCG levels approximately 9 days after a day 5 embryo transfer. My periods are regular every 30 days. Last normal period was late for one day. The following month I missed. Beta HCG is 0. Is pregnancy possible?

My periods are regular every 30 days. Last normal period was late for one day. The following month I missed. Beta HCG is 0. Is pregnancy possible?

No, unless...: If an egg just got fertilized, but has not implanted, it starts dividing into multiple cells but is freely floating... which means no bHCG is detectable yet. It has not implanted yet. Also, it may not implant successfully and be just another missed, fertilized egg... which is a natural occurrence in women's lives. Wait to test for bHCG 3 weeks after when one thinks conception might have occurred. ...Read more
