Hcg And Pcos
Sac 5w. CRL 7w. No FCA on Doppler. Hcg 6100. Last week hCG 4800. I have pcos, fibroids. LMP Feb 2014. US shows sac implanted low. Is this there hope?
Sorry but not likely: With no fetal cardiac activity at 7 weeks, the likelihood of a normal pregnancy is very, very low. The hCG does not appear to have risen at an appropriate rate which indicates a problem with the pregnancy.
I have PCOS. Cramping for 2 weeks. Pink/brown discharge 4 days before period should come but stopped 4 days later. Negative hCG test. Due to PCOS or?
Pcos: Pcos can cause harmonal imbalance leads to irregular cycles.
Ivf#1, pcos, hCG = 24.8 at 14 dpo. I am off progesterone support as doc said it's not needed beyond 14dpo. Can I still get periods?
Pregnant: One does not have a period when pregnant.
Ivf#1, pcos, hCG = 24.8 at 14 dpo. I am not taking progesterone any more as doc said it's not needed beyond 14dpo. Can I still get periods?
I had a followup TV ultrasound for lack of period for 5mths, now I have parovarian cyst on my right ovary. Could that be related to my PCOS? Hcg neg
Not likely: Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a bit of a misnomer, one needn't have a 'cyst' to have the diagnosis. Having said that, a lot of women have paraovarian cysts without PCOS, as well. PCOS is more of an endocrine disorder, than a problem with cysts. Women with PCOS often dont' have a period, and can have excess testosterone, excess estrogen and increased risk for diabetes.See 1 more doctor answer
277 miu/ml hCG on 11/4. Don't know how many weeks I am b/c pcos. On 11/6 it doubled. I think I was around 4w3d then. Is this normal or are these low?
Normal: If it double in a 48 hr time period then things are looking good.
Hcg on 11/04 277 hCG on 11/06 658 unknown weeks due to pcos. Viability scan on 11/19. Lmp 09/20 but I prob conceived on 10/19. Does this make sense?
Yes late ov but pg!: The charts detailing your gestational age include 2 weeks prior to your ovulation. The charts are set as if everyone ovulated on day 14. If you set your ovulation day as day 14 your corrected lmp would be 10/6/13. The HCG levels on 11/4 and 11/6 are appropriate with this date. On 11/19 you will be 6 weeks 2 days which is the earliest to do a viability scan. Congratulations!
Taking Clomid (clomiphene) for pcos. Will I need an hCG shot as well? In what cases would this happen?
Prior had 2 '3dfet' - (twins live births) My hcg=164 (12dpfet). Am now preg. Hcg 76 (13dfet). Am I a slow starter? Is it due to having PCOS?
Schedule follow up: It is tough to decipher your question. I think you are saying you are 13 days post frozen embryo transfer and that your BHCG is 76. I think you are concerned because this is slightly lower than your last pregnancy when a 12 day post transfer level was 164. If that is correct then one can not compare the results from one pregnancy to another and draw any specific conclusions.
21 yo f. history pcos. Trying to get pregnant w husb. For 13mos. Always regularcycle. Week late but home test says neg. Could I have low hcg. How to be sure?
Yes: Some home pregnancy tests can be positive as soon as 5 days, however, it may take longer. I recommend repeating test in one week. If still negative, then you are not pregnant, but can keep trying.
I HAD MY PERIOD ON 26/SEP. THEN I HAD BRWN DISHRGE FOR 1N1/2 DAYS. ON 6TH NOV. TILL NOW NO PERD. USG TVS =MULTPL FOLICLR CYST N HCG IS 0.100.I'VE PCOS?
Irregular periods: Irregular periods - very typical of PCOS. You need to continue follow up with your doctor, cases vary significantly but some do benefit from Metformin and lifestyle intervention that reduce insulin resistance. Other treatment options are available depending on access to GYN specialist.See 1 more doctor answer
Can pcos cause low levels of hcg? Having regular cycles for years once I started taking metformin. Tracking ovulation with opk's.
I have pcos and had an hCG trigger 18 days ago, and am 16 DPO with many pregnancy symptoms, but negative home tests. Could I still be pregnant?
Possible: The home pregnancy test are not always accurate. You could be pregnant with a very low level of HCG (hormone of pregnancy) and this will not be detected by a home pregnancy test. You can ask your obgyn or fertility specialist to order a blood work for HCG level as well as progesterone, this will tell you more precisely if you are pregnant and/or whether you truly ovulated.
Lost 2 pregnancies due to low hcg. Were lost at 4 1/2 and 5 1/2 weeks. What is the cause? Pcos w/ normal cycles & ovulation. Takes metformin, diagnosis in er
Recurrent miscarriag: The low HCG results are not the cause of the lost pregnancies, but rather an indicator that the pregnancies were nonviable. You have to look for the reason why a pregancy could not grow normally. One specific factor to look for with recurrent miscarriage is a diagnosis of lupus (with the lupus anticoagulant); other causes are congenital abnormalities of the uterus, fibroid tumors, and chromosomal.See 1 more doctor answer
Accurate: If you have not had a period for 6 months and you have pcos, then the problem is that you are not ovulating. A test at 22 days after intercourse should accurately reflect if you are pregnant or not. If the test is negative, then talk with your doctor about ways to induce ovulation as well as metformin.
Lmp 09/20 pcos empty u/s pain on left abdominal hCG 11/04 and 11/06 viability scan on 11/19. Is the ab pain indicator of ectopic?
Rarely: Sometimes pain is a presentation of ectopic pregnancy, but most common presentation of ectopic pregnancy is pain with bleeding. If you have high risk for ectopic, you would want a scan possibly before 11/19? You can determine pregnancy is intrauterine at around HCG of 2000. Do you know the results of your HCG from today?See 1 more doctor answer
