Hb Tlc Dlc Esr Test Normal Value
Sir, my blood test result. Hb -14.0 TLC-8900 DLC- 58-35 06-01 ESR-20mm/hr Bilirubin- 0.66, 0.21, 0.45 mg/dl. Is the results normal?
All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your results are normal.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
Practice safe sex. ...Read more
My mothere has an ESR of 50. Which is high and she is diabetic and has normal hb. So what are the possible causes of this high value and any test?
No inflammation: ESR, or erythrocyte sedimentation rate, is a measure of inflammation and is commonly ordered with a C-Reactive protein. A normal ESR is usually less than 15-20, but can depend on the lab which performed the test. If you have a normal ESR, you are not likely to have an inflammatory process. The ESR is not a test for a specific problem, so it would be best to know why the test was ordered. ...Read more
Since my blood test showed my ESR is 16... Is it normal to have a little pain every now and then?!
Newly asthmatic and had another ESR test which show very high again within 4 weeks since the last test which was back to normal levels will this mean I need to be tested every few months to check?
Nonspecific finding: An elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) is a very nonspecific marker of inflammation. There are many not very serious causes of elevation - it is often used to rule out conditions that cause it to go up, but if it is elevated and there is nothing else wrong, then watchful waiting is the usual course. You should discuss what might be causing it to be elevated with your doctor. ...Read more
My ESR was 22, I'm getting a little worried. I had bacterial vagonisis at the time of test. Should I be concerned? All other labs normal.
Not with this,,,: Esr typically is associated with joint diseases like lupus and/or other inflammatory diseases like temporal arteritis, which occurs in a person'a mid 40s. It's also higher in women and although it's elevated, it's not too high and has practically nothing to do with your bacterial vaginitis which is more of an infectious issue and hopefully you've been treated. If not, see your dr. Good luck. ...Read more

I'm 56. If ANA, Anti-CCP, ENA, ESR, RF tests are normal, does it mean it's for life and I don't need to repeat these tests again?
Nope: But be thankful and don't repeat them unless your health status changes. ...Read more
29/male. Feel fine. ANA Test done for hearing loss. Results 1:160 and ESR normal. What could this be? So scared!!
My ESR has come to 700 in a test. Is it normal for a 26 year non pregnant female. There is also a trace of RBC in my urine. Any prima facie diagnosis?
Abnormal Tests: Your ESR is very high and rbc in urine is abnormal. You have to discuss with your doctor the significance of these tests. Why the test was ordered and what more tests you need and what your symptoms are. So make an appt, we can not give you any diagnosis based on these tests at this site. ...Read more
Did ESR test and it was very very high from the normal level...A test was done because of my constant severe pain in both legs...What does it mean?
Nonspecific: The ESR or erythrocyte sedimentation rate is the rate at which red blood cells sink to the bottom of the tube given in mm/hr. It is a non-specific measure of inflammation that has been around since 1897. The ESR tends to rise with age and is higher in women and when anemia is present. There are many reasons for an elevated esr, so the test is not useful for indicating a specific diagnosis. ...Read more
Does amitriptyline lower CRP or ESR levels? What about ldh levels? I take 10mg at bedtime and all of these tests are normal. Could it mask these tests
My blood tests came back Globulin 36g/l, MCHC 310 g/l Neutrophils 7.74 (10^9/L) ESR 23 & CRP 12. Are they Normal?
Normal values: The normal values for labs are reported on the same sheet as the labs themselves. You should discuss the results directly with the doctor who performed the test, as interpreting labs is never done in a vacuum--we always need to know the clinical situation too. Talk to your doctor, would be my advice. ...Read more
Diagnosed with pid. Ultrasound is normal. Cbc and ESR blood test normal. Feeling better. How do u know PID is gone.
Symptoms resolve: If your symptoms have resolved, then likely the infection is gone. With a normal white count and sed rate, it is not likely that there is residual infection. ...Read more
Since my blood test showed my ESR is 16... Is it normal to have a little pain in my right hand with little inflamation every now and then?!
I've blood test indicate high ESR 70-110, high mchc 36.2, low RDW 30.8, high mpv 12.3, low pct 32% w/ other test normal. Am I susceptible to hiv?
In blood test ANA is 1.80 it must be 1.40 and ESR is 22 it must be 20 other things are normal and I have allergy. Is the test result showing allergy?
Shows nothing: ANA titer of 1:80 is mildly suggestive of one of the multiorgan autoimmune diseases, not allergy, but by itself means nothing. The erythrocyte sedimentation rate is often done wrong, and unless is it markedly elevated over the reference range (and 20 is a low top -- others give half your age plus 5 for a woman), your physician will probably ignore it. These tests do not diagnose common allergy. ...Read more
10 year old boy is not anemic, normal blood work but high esr at 30? What causes it? Should we be concerned? What other tests shall we ask the doctor?
Stop worrying: ESR is a famously unreliable test, useful only when it's quite far from the reference range and in a few clinical settings. If Junior seems well, I wouldn't even have ordered it. If this was my own son, I wouldn't give this a second thought. Junior's lucky to have caring parents like you. ...Read more

Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Need suggestions sporadic cloudy urine r/s kidney pain blood protein 8.1, urine protein 10mg, ESR 29mm all other blood and urine tests normal. Fu 1wk?
Rule out Stones: Normal urine test makes stone less likely. But would ultrasound your kidneys to rule out right side kidney stone. Cloudy urine is probably occurs on the days when you take dairy (milk, ice cream, shake, cheese) and vegetable-rich diet. The significance is that you may form phosphate stone this way.
