Hi I have a bowel movement about 3-4 times a day. It is hard and brown. Is 3-4 times a day too much? Is that normal?
Hard poop = abnormal: Each person with constipation needs to be sure there is no other disease causing it. If constipation is just due to slow movement of the food and poop through the gut, then the things to try are vegetables, water, prune juice, prunes, fiber+water, miralax, (polyethylene glycol) senokot or other senna, milk of magnesia, other laxatives... A doctor can evaluate and prescribe helpful meds too. Exercise also helps. ...Read more

I have had cream color tissue like substance in my stool. I have had a hard time with bowel movement for about 2 weeks now.
I feel really sick AFTER I have a bowel movement -- I get really shaky, nauseous, sweaty, chills, and start having a hard time hearing.?
Blood pressure low: If this only happened once, don't worry about it too much. If it happens every time, it sounds like your vagus nerve is overactive and it is causing all of these things. Make sure that you don't get constipated and have to strain to get it out or have a lot of pain. If it keeps happening, you need to see a clinic and particularly to get your blood pressure checked. And always get UP SLOWLY. ...Read more
My son is 7 always had a hard time with a bowel movement. Have tried mirilax and metamucil. But his stool is very large. He has normal movement daily?
Chronic constipation: Large-caliber stools mean that your son's colon has enlarged from long-standing constipation & that referral to a pediatric gastroenterologist is warranted. A " clean-out" has to be done before MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) will work. After it's done, he'll need treatment for at least 6 mos. To reduce the risks of medical & behavioral complications of chronic constipation. See his pediatrician first. ...Read more

Why Every time I have vaginal sex the next day it's hard for me to have a bowel movement, also my bladder hurts a bit. I've take std test & all neg.
Space Invader: When you have a object (penis or vibrator) travel in "inner space" (the vagina), there is a great deal of "galaxy sharing" The urinary bladder is just above the vagina and the rectum just below the same. As a result, vigorous vaginal intercourse can temporarily "hold up" those bodily functions. Make sure both the bladder and rectum are empty before enjoying the next "space flight". ...Read more
