A lump: A lump between your breasts but not in the breast itself that doesn't go away could be a fibroma or a lipoma, an inclusion cyst, or an abcess. It is extremely unlikely to be a malignancy. If it is bothering you, an exam would be necessary to say for sure what it is but it should be fairly easy to remove and most likely could be done in the doctor's office if it is small. Cyst: You may have a sebaceous cyst or some additional breasttissue that can exist between your breast or armpits. That is related to hormones. Can you push any discharge out of it? If so it is a pimple/sebaceous cyst (can be removed by your doctor). If it get large or bothersome see your doctor. Unlikely: Barium swallow assesses the width and contours of the esophagus, the tube that connects your throat and stomach. Narrowing (presumably of esophagus) may be related to a variety of factors, many benign and some more concerning. Cat scan is an x-ray which spins around you and generates a 3 dimensional picture of the inside of your chest or abdomen. Endoscopy may also be needed for further assessment. ...Read more
