Don't let it ruin the relationship. Trich can be fixed. Your wife is more valuable than sex. Fix it. ...Read more

We postulate that the high prevalence of trichomoniasis in virgins in ndola is due to non-sexual transmission of trichomoniasis via shared bathing water and inconsistent use of soap. http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0016310. ...Read more

Chlamydia: Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease that should be treated quickly in order to avoid complications. Azithromycin is an antibiotic usually prescribed in a single dose, while doxycycline must be taken twice per day for about one week. This usually takes two weeks at most, during which time you will need to refrain from sexual contact. Your doctor will make the treatment plan. ...Read more

Not likely: Both partners should be treated after the positive result. False positives are possible but false negatives are more likely especially in male testing. Chalmydia can be spontaneously cleared without treatment. It is not likely that the infection has been there "for years" ...Read more
