2 weeks: Usually such wounds look much worse than they are in reality. Rinse your mouth with worm salt water 3 X per day. OTC pain relievers such as Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Advil will help to control discomfort. Keep a good oral hygiene. It will take about 2 weeks to heal.
