Unlikely: Fat necrosis is one of the common causes of a nodule in the skin after trauma. Cancer usually does not develop within weeks, so that seems unlikely. Was it possible there was lump there before, and you only notice it now after the injury? Without an age, there are some other possibilities that could be seen: gout, arthritis, etc. ...Read more

I have a lump on my right elbow. Its hard and not moving. The size just like small bean. Sometimes there a pain. I have no injury. Its just came out. Do I need to worry? Tnx

I: I am not sure that can be answered without having the lump evaluated. Just above the elbow there are supratrochlear lymph nodes. If you had multiple swollen nodes over the body, that could be problematic. ...Read more

Lymph node: Lymph nodes are found throughout the body. The most common ones that can be felt are both in the front and back of the neck, under the armpits and in the groin. One can also find them around the elbows. Any scratch, bite, or infection can make a particular lymph node draining that area, swell. If they continue to grow and persist over six weeks, they need to be evaluated by a physician. ...Read more

I have a small hard lump in a vein on the inside of my arm by my elbow. It radiates pain and stings when I touch or squeeze it. What is it?

Phlebitis likely: Phlebitis is simply an inflamed vein. It could also be thrombophlebitis with is an inflamed vein with a clot in it.
