Lumps....: If you mean in the groin area it is most likely a lymph node. Is it tender? How long has it been there? Enlarged lymph node in children are not uncommon in the neck, the arm pits and the groin. A cyst: I assume the lump is visible pushing up the skin...What it could be depends upon whether it is in the skin ( a subaceous cyst or infected follicle) vs in the subcutaneous fat ( a lipoma) or from even deeper.
