Carotenaemia: Orange palms condition is called carotenaemia. This is a harmless phenomenon that is seen in patients who are food faddists or who are taking dietary supplements that contain? -carotene or other carotenoids such as canthaxanthin. Carotenoids are found in the normal diet but mainly in pumpkins, carrots. It is also helpful to review the medication that was prescribed for your UTI.

Hi Doc. The palm of my hands and feet are turning orange what could possible caused that?

Hi Doc. The palm of my hands and feet are turning orange what could possible caused that?

See your doctor: You would need to see your MD to get checked. You could have jaundice which can explain the yellow/orange skin or other condition. Excessive consumption of certain food like carrots - also can cause orange skin discoloration. It is impossible to answer your questions without knowing more information and doing some evaluation on you. Go to see your doctor to get checked.

Less circulation?: Raynaud's phenomenon is a symptom caused by constriction of small blood vessels, usually in the fingers and toes, leading to a lack of nutrients and oxygen going to the fingers and toes. Raynaud's phenomenon can be due to auto-immune disorders, hormonal imbalances, medication effects, etc... A primary care, endocrinology, or rheumatology doctor can look for possible causes of the hand symptoms.

Why are my hands yellowish orange color?

Why are my hands yellowish orange color?

See physician: A yellow discoloration of the skin could be something as benign as eating lots of carrots or exposure of your hands to something that has stained them. It could also be something as serious as liver disease (jaundice). It is important to see a health care provider and have some testing done to make sure that your liver is okay.

You've described: Raynaud's phenomena. Ask your health care practitioner to evaluate you for other causes and recommend treatment. Obviously wearing warm gloves is advisable.

My hand nails have two color. Normal pink and darker color red/orange. Is there something wrong?

Nail issue: It's quite hard to imagine the way your nails look without seeing a picture. This may be a variant of normal or it may be not but to increase the likelihood of correct advice, I'd ask for a picture of your nail in question to be uploaded, so it could be looked at.

Last night I noticed a brownish/orange discoloration on my fingernail beds. This morning I woke up and it was all over my hands and feet!

Discoloration: If you noted yellowish tinge in the whites of your eyes or brownish urine, jaundice may be the cause of the discoloration. Otherwise could there have been dye which came off clothing you came in contact with? A physician is best qualified to identify medical illnesses characterized by discoloration of skin.

I have on my pinkie fingertip an orange discoloration, it doesn't hurt or itch. Haven't smashed my hand or frostbite ever. Been there now for 2 years?

Dermatology: Without seeing it in person, it's really hard to give you an accurate diagnosis on what it is, but I think it's probably a god sign that it doesn't hurt or bleed or cause you many problems. I would suggest you see a dermatologist and have them take a look at it and see what they think of the discoloration and if it's something you need to worry about. Best wishes to you.

I noticed am orange color on my 8 week olds tongue this morning and he keeps putting his hands to his mouth? He is strictly formula fed.

Vitamins/thrush: If your baby is taking a vitamin supplement, those usually are orange and can make the tongue appear an orange color. Also, newborns can get oral thrush, which makes a white coating on the tongue. This white coating is easily dyed by vitamins. If you can't wipe this coating off with a wet towel and the baby seems in pain, either see your pediatrician, or upload a pic to me for an inbox consult

Is agent orange a contributor of vargus nerve damage in elbows causing hand atrophy?

See below: Do you mean the vagus nerve? If so that has nothing to do with the arm/hand. There is “limited or suggestive evidence of an association” between herbicide exposure and “early-onset peripheral neuropathy that may be persistent”.

Is agent orange a contributor of /vargus nerve damage in elbows causing hand atrophy?

Wrong facts: Vagus nerve does not go to the hand. The ulnar nerve gets pinched at the elbow most usually to cause hand atrophy but an also be injured at the wrist or from the nerve root level in the neck. Need to see an orthopedic surgeon. No connection to agent orange.

having lemon, orange, strawberries, tea& zinc to help body get rid of hand warts (tried everything else on planet acid, cryo, tape, acv). might work?

having lemon, orange, strawberries, tea& zinc to help body get rid of hand warts (tried everything else on planet acid, cryo, tape, acv). might work?

No: Wart-removal acids sold over-the-counter can get rid of hand warts. One's primary care doctor or a dermatologist can freeze the warts. If a person has many warts on her hand, there are other medications that a dermatologist can try. Fruits are not going to get rid of warts... but sometimes warts do go away on their own.

My hands go purple with bright orange, spots in cold weather, covers whole hand and wrist, doc checked pulses and were fine, what could this be?

Cold hands: Sometimes having cold hands that turn colors, typically either white or purple in cold weather are signs of a relatively common problem referred to raynaud's disease. I am not sure what to make of the orange spots however, my apologies.
