Hands And Feet Looks Yellow
Yellow hands: Hello, we are not told how old you are but if you are menstruating and pale, please visit the GP or OBGYN to have your Hb (hemaglobin) tested in a full blood count. The yellowness in the hands is most likely due to caratonemia, ie too many carrots and squash in diet and simply reducing these may improve the color. It is unlikely to be due to raised bilirubin but its an easy test to do thanks ...Read more

My toenails on my rt foot have gotten thicker but not yellow. Could it be fungus? I had an injury to big toe and now that nail and the others arethick
My toe nail of the third toe on both feet have an identical shaped light yellow patch coving 2/3 of the nail. It appeared in a short period of time. (3 weeks) what are possible causes?
Big toe right foot, under toe nail theres a yellow line. I haven't been to a doctor in like 20 yrs.I smoke cig.I know my health is bad, but this is new.
I'm : I'm not all that clear on what you mean by a "yellow line." vertical? Horizontal? Perfectly straight? Slowly growing or suddenly appearing? Beyond a better description, adding a link to a photograph would also help. So, given the limit of what information you provided, it's hard to make any kind of reasonable determination as to the cause. I will say that one of the most common causes of discolored toenails is a fungal infection, and while fungal infections of the nails can start with any sort of pattern, it's not typically a "line." i would be remiss in any answer to advise you of the obvious, though. Being a smoker especially, it's probably a good idea to see a doctor every 20 years or so, whether you need to or not, especially if you "know [your] health is bad." as much as it's annoying to see us doctors (believe me, i know!), there is an alternative to bad health..... Good health! if you can post a picture of your toenail, i'll try my best to give you a more meaningful answer. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have what looks like shiny oil droplets in my urine....also stay swollen all over especially in feet and hands. What can cause this?
Kidney: The answer is a lot of things. But with your history of high blood pressure kidney disease tops the list. Especially if the oily droplets in your urine foam up, it could be a sign of your body losing protein in the urine. This would be a start. But the list also includes thyroid disease, diabetes complications, heart disease, liver disease and others. You should get a full check up. ...Read more
My feet and my hands are constantly red and swollen and i can see what looks like white circles in random spots, what is it? plz help
Too young for this: There are several possibilities for what you describe. Some possibilities are allergic reaction to something you are always around; a disease where the body attacks itself like Lupus; a medication, herb or vitamin you are taking; a body organ that is not working right. The white spots may be areas where the skin does not get red. See a doctor as soon as possible and get a diagnosis. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have a spot on the palm of my hand. At first I thought it could be a bite/wart but it looks full of yellow puss. What is it and how can I get rid?
Small infection: Maybe you got poked by something? Maybe with a little splinter underneath the skin? If have multiple on palms as well as other areas of skin, call doc for eval asap as it could mean systemic illness such as gonorrhea etc..If just only one, get a clean needle, clean area with rubbing alcohol and lancet/open it to allow draining of the puss. Then keep clean, dry should do it. Consult doc. Good luck. ...Read more
Hand foot and mouth on two year old. A week in and still spreading. Looks terrible, a lot like a burn on his face where sores used to be. What to do?
Secondary Impetigo?: Poor baby! It can certainly cause severe pain and mouth/throat sores. But a week in he should have some improvement, not worsening. The spreading on his face late in the course makes me think he may have a secondary impetigo infection. I would try neosporin topically on it today, if the face rash worsens by tomorrow, he needs to be seen for a visit. If he has fever, visit today. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
